Weird Microsoft Edge

Hi Guys
I looked at the live demo of the Image Accordion on this site https://tympanus.net/codrops/2012/06/06 ... with-css3/ using the Edge browser and everything is normal.
But when I download the source code and execute the index.html file I can only see 4 images. When I open the same file using Chrome it display everything the same as in the live demo.
So my question is what is Edge's story here ?
