Hi All
I have been looking at and playing with the extensions to try and create an Automatic Image gallery. Here's what I want to do:
1. Have a web page that has such as an iFrame on one page. The page has usual headers, footers, navigation, etc and is Responsive. The iFrame part is to contain an image gallery that is automatically populated from a set a images in a name folder, eg ./docs/images/showroom
2. Options to upload new images - the "File Uploader" ext'n seems to do this fine to this folder
3. Options to view files within the same folder with an option to delete them - not seen an extension to do that.
Has anyone had any experience with this idea and what was your final choice?
TIA
Running v14.0.4
Automatic Image Gallery
Re: Automatic Image Gallery
Wow, 908 views and no one has any suggestions! Oh well, I'll just trudge through all the extensions myself. Thanks All.
UPDATE:
Now got to a point where I can do what I need as follows:
1. Add the extension File Uploader - this takes care of getting files on to the Gallery
2. Add the Online Slide Show - this takes care of showing the gallery.
(Alternatively, use Flash PHP Gallery but that needs Flash...)
3. Stuck at DELETING Files - can anyone help?
TIA

Thanks alexmasss, are there no Extension built into WWB that would do this? TIA

Re: Automatic Image Gallery
Thanks Bluesman, as I have previously posted, I have used the 'online gallaries' as suggested. Just need a option to delete files now. Tia.
Re: Automatic Image Gallery
Have a look at Filegator. I used it to allow users to add, edit, and delete images from their galleries. A good value for $25.
