WYSIWYG Web Builder FAQ
Fonts an fings!
Two questions on a similar theme:- 1) On my website I predominately use Arial font. I am told this is boring and old hat! Changing my text to a different more 'cool' font, I then realised that many fonts are changed when viewed by various browsers. Are the 'Web-safe-Fonts in WWB so named because they do not change or appear the same in any browser? 2) Years ago when building my first website I was told that a welcome page was wrong because one needs to hit the viewer with instant info, but looking at 'modern' websites, there is very frequently a welcome page - have trends changed?

Depends on the market you are trying to attract. Do you think it would benefit you more from having this with what your selling? Personally I don't see the need but it is down to what you think is needed and the sites that use it.Any response to Question two?
