Blog object

Post by alex4orly »

I want to LINK each item in the Blog object to a Javascript upon "Click" but I see this option not there.
The same problem with the "Responsive Menu" object I am using
What other objects / options can I use to do this?

Looking forward to some ideas

Thanks

In the blog, you can add a link to the 'read more' button.
You cannot add events to blog items because they are based on HTML templates, so there is no way for the application to know where to add the code (because each template is different).

The Responsive Menu supports events in links.

I don't see where in the Blog object (for each item) I can add a link other than what is in the drop down / combo list, and it has no such option... There is - website, page in project, email etc.... but no event
Regarding the menu, I took the CSS Menu, that has an Events option and will work for me

But the Blog?

Thanks

So, when you say "In the blog, you can add a link to the 'read more' button."?
It means that I can't do that with the Blog Object, can I use something else instead?

Also, after playing a bit with the CSS Menu, it seems that when I reduce the browser size to the 320 bp, it does NOT turn itself in the Hamburger menu, so do I have to add another hidden menu for that point?

thanks

You can add links, but you cannot add (onclick) events.

The CSS menu does not have a hamburger menu.

OK, so is there in WB any menu that does have a hamburger
Or, is there any menu that can be configured as hambuurger that I can use for the break point?

Thanks again

That's fine - but please remember my initial query...
Which of those has a hamburger option as well as an event trigger option?

Thanks

As mentioned in my first reply, the responsive menu also supports events.

I inserted an event onclick and point it to a javascript function. But it is ignored.
So i am asking, what should the general setup tab be?
