I would like to put an email on a website but I would like to cloak it somehow to avoid spamming as best as I can.
The site has a form which works perfectly, but they insist on having a clickable email as well..
Cheers,
lasa

One way save the text as a image not 100% full proof or see the following:

Note using a email on the page will require the user/visitor to have a email client set up on there PC and not everyone will have this thats why it is always recommend to use a form.

I would speak with your client to advise them that putting their email out there could and will probably invite spam. If they are ok with that, then do it. Having the form with a captcha is the best way to avoid spam but is not 100%.

I usually advise my clients not to do it but if they are insistent then do it. I'm sure down the road you will get a phone call telling you they are getting a lot of spam and how to stop it. That's when you advise them to remove it and just use the form.
