Hi,

I have several carousels on my new responsive site and all works well except for the fact that I just cannet get 'Next' and 'Previous' navigation buttons to show. They show on the 'RAW' page within WB (while designing) but disappear when viewed in any browser.

ALSO, in Chrome and Firefox, the height of the Carousel alters with each change of image at 970 pixels. This doesn't happen when the page is at 480 pixels

Is there some trick I've missed in both cases?

Thank you very much, Pablo. I uploaded the site to the server yesterday and I have had negative feedback from friends on both these issues.

In the properties of the Carousel, the navigation is not enabled.
Please make sure 'Enable navigation buttons' is checked.

Also, the aspect ratio of each image is different, the Carousel adapts itself to its contents.

Thanks, but unfortunately, I think you must have looked at the one page where I hadn't enabled those buttons! If you look at the Home page, where the navigation buttons are enabled, you will see the problem, as per these screen grabs.

Thanks for the answer on the image sizes, I will standardise all those.

On this page you have specified a custom image. But the image does not exist (at least not in the project you have shared).
If you meant to use the built-in images then please clear the filename input field or make sure the path is valid.

I don't understand. If the image doesn't exist, how can it possibly show up on the WB design page? As here (this is a screenshot from the copy project I sent you)

The reason I tried using those arrow images (imported from another WB version) was because the default ones didn't show and I thought these were more obvious.

Because if WWB cannot find the image then it will fallback to the default image. However, the browser needs a valid path.

To use the build-in 'bootstrap' arrows, please use '<' and '>' in the file name fields.

I've done that (see the left hand Carousel), but the arrows still don't show when published locally or on the server

which is the problem I had at the beginning and why I tried to use different indicator images.

Here is a copy of the pared down website I sent to you with those changes made to the l/h Carousel.
Plus you can see that I also took out most of the images from the carousels and left a couple of blanks.
You can see the Previous/Next images on the blank pages, but as soon as a photo loads, it hides them.
You can also see that default Previous/Next arrows on the left carousel are almost invisible against a light background

By the way, those Previous/Next images are definitely on the server - in the root directory and in 'Images'

I think it is related to the way you have implemented the image Carousel.
You can add the image as (full width ) image objects, so it covers the arrows.
If all you want to do is create an image carousel, then better use background images (in the carousel slides) or use a standard image slideshow instead.
Or you can also add padding so there is space for the arrows on both sides.
