Hi I have a user database on my hosting site which I would like to access using the admin from the log-in tools. I cannot find out how to setup the admin page up so that I can access it online. I can access it through myphp and through a "database viewer" plugin in another software program that I am moving away from. I would really like to set it up to use wysiwyg admin tool if this is possible. I have the database name and password etc but cannot find where to enter them in the admin tool.
Will I even be able to do what i'm attempting to do

Hi Pablo, yes i read the help page but im not sure where the user name and password goes in the admin section. When I change from flat file to MYSQL it appears to ask for a lot of data that I don't have. I have a user name, password and database name. All I am trying to do is use the admin tool to view the user database that I have already setup in myphp. is this even possible even though it was created by another software program?

I'm sorry, you cannot use a database from another application.
The database needs to be in the format as described in the help.

The login admin was designed to manage users for the login tools. It is not a generic database editor.

How do you want to "access" the database?
Have you seen the MySQL extensions available in wwb?
Data Viewer, MySQL Connect, MySQL Table Editor, MySQL Connector.

I had thought that might be the case but just thought I would ask.
