Different image per day

Let me thank everyone for your help first. I am new at this, if can't tell.
I am looking for a way to have an image change once per day, in an organized order, not random. Is there a way or an extension that will do this?

On my home page I wish to have an image up for the day and change to the next, in order throughout the year. at the same time everyday. Kind of like those daily calendars that would have a picture and /or comment set to the day of the week.
