Under WB14, I could have a navigation menu with nice coloured buttons and modify them so I changed the colours.

Under WB15, it won't accept any changes from colorising it - in the WB15 program itself. A preview shows the correct colours.

Here's a picture - you can see the menu at the top is still green, although the preview is purple. Can you fix this?

You are right, this functionality has not been implemented yet. I will add it in the next update.
