I just bought version 15 (I am user of version 14).
Can I install version 15 x64 parallel to my existing version 14 x86 on my Windows 7 x64Computer?
Are there known side effects?
Are the settings shared?

I have 12, 14 and 15 all installed.
Bear in mind anything saved in later versions won't open in earlier versions

Yes, you can have both versions on the same computer.
They do not share the same settings, but they do share the same publish data, templates, extensions. Unless you configure a different system folder (in Tools -> Options-> Files & Folders)
