Image rendering vs whats seen on webbuilder

Hi,

This seems to have just started happening after I upgraded to ver 15. The images on the page are oversized then what I view in the design builder. Any ideas what's causing it? Images attached

I have not seen this before.
What are the exacts steps to reproduce this behavior?

Do you have a demo project (with one page and one image) which demonstrates the problem?

It looks like the problem is caused by setting the reflection option of the image. If I set the reflection to 0 the issue is gone. But of course I no longer have the reflection.

Test demo page

Settings in link below. Basically I added an image to a layout grid, changed the Miscellaneous setting of Reflection to 25

If you enable refection then the image will no longer be responsive, so in that case it cannot be used inside a layout grid. The results will be undefined.

Fair enough. Yet I was using the same configuration on another site with success.

But scaling is more important to me so if I get this issue again I will avoid using effects.
Thanks

If you can share a demo project (created in WB14) then I will investigate if there is a difference with WB15.

I get intermittent results when its previewed and when viewed on the website. The top image seems ok with the reflection and appears full out while the bottom image is cropped. These are one of the image/text blocks provided in wysiwyg.

I'm sorry, but this combination of settings will not work.
Besides 'full width' you have also have set 'object fit' to scale. This will affect the size of the image's container after publishing.

The reflection effect was designed to be used in fixed/absolute layouts. It will only look good for one size, because the refection will be merged with the original image.
When you use it in a responsive layout then the image will be resized/stretched dynamically and this will deform the image.

Thanks for the explanation Pablo. I thought it was an interesting effect and it seemed to work initially. Not a necessary look that I need anyway.

Hello.
How to turn on those nice labels (with names) for all objects? I have them but just for some layout elements...

This feature is only available for layer/forms.
