optimized global replace

It needs a delay to execute it and my PC hang because my project are more than 400 pages.
Do you have a solution for it?
Can it run for only 20 pages of the project? (for stable work)

Global replace scans all pages for URLs, fonts etc, this wll take time. There is no way to speed because it depends on the content of your pages and your computer performance.

i understand that but scans all pages take many time when add new pages and maybe one person not like change some thing in some pages.
is this good idea for suggest to limit Global replace for some pages - like : don't include this page in global replace (in page properties) ?
in this case user can edit a part of website with global replace
