May be I am missing something but how do you change a property of a group of similar objects?
i.e. group of text boxes that you want to change the font size in one operation instead of having to edit every single one of them.

There is no option to change the properties of multiple objects at once.
But maybe you can use 'global replace' or 'copy/paste style'
