Using Book marks on a responsive website.

Using bookmarks on a responsive website, I notice the book marks dont work properly except on the default resolution (breakpoint) and on all other breakpoints, the bookmarks go hay-wire.
Is there any way to set the book marks in a way to work on all breakpoints?

Did you adjust the position of the bookmarks in your breakpoints?

Note: if you need assistance then please always include an example.

Pablo,
When I am adjusting the bookmarks on breakpoints, for example I set it at a point and added offset of 215 and on 320 breakpoint I make the offset as 400, then on every breakpoint the bookmark position is changing to 320. Disturbing the default brepoint bookmarks too.
here is the concerned example: http://lucknowwebs.com/templates/partsupply2a

The offset is controlled by JavaScript so it is the same for all breakpoints.

Pablo, thanks so much for checking. Can you please tell me what could be wrong on the page and how the breakpoints can be made to work properly on all breakpoints.

Check the link on a mobile and see how the bookmarks misbehave and open wrong sections viz-a-viz the default desktop view.

Just drag the bookmark symbol (anchor) to the location where you would like for each separate break point. Because the 'page' length of each break point will become longer with each smaller view port, the bookmark location will also need to be dragged to it's appropriate location.

You may be over thinking it... it really is just that simple.

I did not have any problems when I just left the bookmark offset at the default (0). All I did was to drag each bookmark icon to the required location for each break point.

I did a 'view source' on your web page, and for some reason it is showing negative values for the offset. Perhaps you could forget manually setting an offset value?

That's all I got...

I will remove offset values and give it a try

I removed all offset values and arranged the book marks in a way that it acts perfectly in the default breakpoint but moment Im switching to mobile view, only breakpoint 1 works, rest all go hay-wire...
any one, any solution?

Without a project file to see how things are set up it is hard to say anything about it.

For me, all links in ( Menu and even to up button ) work correctly on my phone.
As crispy said, we'll need the project file to see what the exact setting you have done..

Hi Pronenjeet
Just a thought... When using the inbuilt bookmarks in objects ex in Layout grids you can not have different positions or offset in different breakpoints, but when using the standard Bookmark tool from the toolbox you can position them in different heights manually in different breakpoints.

Hi,
Found what you are saying. Will try that and revert.
Thanks Bluesman
Thanks all

I'm trying it but it's a tiring thing. For each breakpoint I add the bookmarks and then hide them from other breakpoints and then when I preview it doesn't work.
Do you have an easier way to do what you suggested 🙏

Hi again Prosenjeet
I had two projects that I had to use the standard "Bookmark" tool for. I couldn't figure out why it didn't work with the inbuilt bookmarks in the Layout Grids. So for making it as simple as possible I limited the breakpoints to as few as possible.
In other sites with less information it has worked better...
