I'll do my best to explain this since the form is not allowing me to upload an image. It looks as though I need to link to one.
When you do a Google search for "Nike," you'll see the domain name, description, and under all of that, links that will direct you to different parts of their website.
I'm reaching out to the WWB community to see if anyone knows how to acquire those links under the description. And to see if there is a technical name for them.

The technical name for the "Links" is "Sitelinks". How do you obtain them well first you need a "Good Site Structure" so that "Googles" algorithms can find them.
Use and upload a "Site Map", give relevant and accurate meta descriptions, title tags etc, avoid keyword stuffing, good page content, use internal links that are informative. Use "Headings" H1,H2 on the paragraphs, ensure your site/pages are optimised for loading and that it is "Mobile" friendly (Responsive) for the likes of "Android and Apple". This is just a few suggestions to get you started but there is much more you can do to get great "Ranking" so that "Google" sees your site.

Thank you.
I'm guessing that Google selects them and you do not have control over that?

Correct, even if "Google" uses them at all you don't really have a say...
