Events on a text menu in a iframe don't work

Hello here,
i have a problem with a textmenu where the items don't have links, just java events.
Because i have a variable number of items i use a iframe where i insert a "special" page where the textmenu is available.
Each menu point have a java script event.
If i put this textmenu on the page directly, the java textmenu "events" work OK.
If i insert on the page a iframe and in this iframe i insert the page with the textmenu, the java events don't work.
Is here a way to fix this, can somebody teach me how i can fix this?
