***SOLVED***Ghost images and information in project

Hello, starting a few weeks ago I started get ghost images and ghost code showing up in the design screens. These do not show up in the published files but it's getting so bad it's impossible to design any more.
In the attached pictures it will look like I have a jumble of overlapping flex grids and text. The "FlexGrid-700" is not there, just it's ghost...
Any ideas on how to get this to stop?

It would help to know...
exact Program version
32 or 62 bit
Windows version
This might help determine whether you might be experiencing issues with the program itself, settings, or PC.

In the ribbon tab "View" have you got "Render Hidden Objects" ticked?

That was fast rogerl, yes I did and when I turn that off the ghosts leave me alone! THANK YOU!
But this shouldn't be happening so I think it deserves checking into still.

Hi GoinNuts

Actually it should GN. The ability to hide objects is a standard/normal feature. It is used to hide objects across viewports - for example if you wanted a "tap to phone" icon in mobile/cell phone views.

It should not be showing stuff that's not there!

As Roger said, you need to have "show hidden objects" unticked - do that and they won't show - they are there, but you can chose whether you want them shown in the respective viewport.

It's a handy feature especially when you have multiple breakpoints and, for instance, you need to use a different menu in smaller view-ports, you hide the full size version but still be able to see its location on screen and also track what objects are outside the view-ports boundaries. Also because the object is labelled it makes it easier to locate and unhide from the object manager should you need it.
