Spacing Form Fields and labels

Hi - quite new to using WYSIWIG but getting there! However I have a problem with a form that I've created, sure I'm doing something stupid but can't work out what. Basically I have created a form within a layout grid. The form is fine and works ...BUT I'd like to create some padding between the adjacent fields rather than have them all bunched together. At the same time I'd like to add the Field name on the outside of the field box rather than in it. What am I missing in terms of set up. (I have built a form on a single page using form wizard with no problem but just can't get these two elements to happen) :? Thanks in advance. Oh the test so far is up at www.styleprint.biz/test
Well having written this I literally just found the way to add the padding using "margins"! :D :D but still have the issue regarding moving the labels to outside the field boxes if anyone can help Thanks

You can add spacing around element with 'margin'.

Place holders cannot be placed outside the elements, but you can use the 'Label' object to associate a label.

Thanks I cracked the margins bit okay and understand the labels as that's what I used when in form wizard, I just can't find the ability on any drop down menu to add a label within the grid :? it doesn't appear in the object properties box

You can drag & drop the label object into the grid, just like any other object.

Well I thought I'd cracked it! I placed labels in the grid they did tend to jump to the bottom but finally got them in place - however when I load the file on the server, the labels have shifted right across to the far left. I played with it and settings several times and finally thought I'd achieved it only to realise on uploading it swapped the e-mail and enquiry labels around. Can I mail you the wbs file to look at and then let me know what I'm not doing correctly please?
Many Thanks

You can re-arrange objects inside a layout grid with the 'Arrange' tools or numpad '+' and '-'.

if you need assistance then please prepare a demo project.

Note: I do not need your complete projetc. I only need a single page, so it's immediately clear what you have done.
Also remove all extensions and other non-relevant content from the project.

That would be great if you can have a quick look and amend for me. The file is at www.styleprint.biz/test/Test Form.wbs

You can see the output I currently have at www.styleprint.biz/test/contact. I'm sure it's something simple but just not seeing it at the moment!
Many Thanks

The label are not part of the layout grid. They are behind the grid.
You can see this in the Object Manager.

To make them part of the layout grid, drag & drop them inside the grid column.

Got it many. Knew it would be something simple!!
Thanks so much for your help.
(I think one thing I was trying to do was put the labels at the front of the edit boxes, but as soon as I put them above, no problem)
Thanks again :D :D

You can put them in front of the edit box, by setting the 'full width' property to 'false' or by adding an extra column to the grid.
