Hi,
I have been working on a website for months, but now it has stopped publishing to a file (until today it went without a problem).
Woe publishing closes the program after a few seconds and nothing is published. The same thing happens on preview.

Have the latest version of the program and have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

If I try to do it in 64 bit version, I get error message "Encountered an improper argument."

I need more information to be able to help you.
What exactly did you do before it stopped working?

I have only entered information about stores and companies. It was the same as the last few months. The last publication was about 2 weeks ago and that was not a problem. There was no change to the website itself.

After I didn't get published, I updated to the latest version of the program (no change), then I tried the 64 bit version (no change). Then I uninstalled both programs and reinstalled (still no change).

On viewing your site and it's source code I noticed that just about all your images if not all have invalid naming. By this I mean that you have named each one starting with a number using JPG rather than jpg which should be used in instead. and the names are also uppercase rather than lowercase. Please read the following url as the issue (s) you are experiencing will most likely be down to what I have written.

I have fixed the names of the pictures (but it has worked before). Now it's just a number.

But what are the exact steps to reproduce the problem?

When publishing to a file, the program has closed and publishing was not done.

I found where is the problem. On the last page was text with copied and pasted email address.
I way type it directly into text first, and insert link (email) afterwards.

Then everything is fine.

Which specific page did you add as last?
And what is the ID of the object that causes the problem?

On this page (om_oss_kontakt_Harstadportalen) there was a copied email address from MS Word, and because of that I did not have to publish.
