ok, frustration is setting in, i can get lightbox to work but as soon as i introduce a specified size nothing.
help needed.

Which light box are you using?

Each lightbox has a different set of options. So, the settings depend on which lightbox you have selected.

ive tried all three
i can get the light box to work in pretty photo, fancy box and magnificpopup, but as soon as i introduce width and height, i get nothing.

Maybe you are using the wrong syntax?

The settings you have used only work for 'fancybox'. MagnificPopup does not have the possibility to set the size via options.

no change, using fancy box i can get a full page popup, as soon as i try to give dimension i get nothing.

The lightbox is still set tie "magnificpopup'.
Please select 'fancybox' otherwise the specified size options will not work.

Also, the syntax of the options is incorrect.
It should be
