hi all, ive just downloaded the latest update 15.4.1, and now the app will not launch. i've deleted the update and tried to reinstall 15.4.0 but that just take me to the update page wyhich i downloaded again but still no joy,any thought. the only thing i've done recently is installed a vpn.????

This is most likely related to your firewall or virusscanner configuration.
Please make sure nothing is blocking the application.

ok, i turned off the VPN, no joy. i turned off the firewall, no joy. i turned off the antivirus, no joy. i put the [aptop into safe mode, no joy.
is there something else im missing.????

Maybe you have enabled ransomware protection in Windows?

Do you get anything at all on screen when you try to start the program?

i get the blue round loading circle for 2-3 seconds then nothing

pablo, i updated a web at 12:00, never changed any settings, when i next opened the app the update box appeared i clicked it through and the app wouldnt launch. most fustrating i have a web to update. i tried reinstalling 15.4.0 but that just goes straght to the update page.

I understand that this is frustrating for you.
But please understand that there is nothing I can do about this.
Something on your computer on your computer is blocking the application.
If your firewall or virus scaner is wrongly configured then the application cannot bypass this.
Version 15.4.1 is very minor update so it works the same as before. However, for a firewall/virus scanner it is a new application because it has a different 'fingerprint'.

Can't you just ignore the update notification?

Hi pablo, no the update notificatio takes you to the update page wheather you click the x, or ok, no way round it.

Is it possible to send me a link without the update pop up attached???

What exactly does this popup look like?

If you mean the standard update notification then you can just click 'OK' to ignore it.

But I cannot think of any other reason for the application not to launch than that something is blocking it.

hi Pablo, had to reset win10, no idea why win10 got knocked about but 15.4,1 now working as it should.
