Carousel Pause Option

Using the Carousel and Fotorama extensions I have found that the pause/interval option has no or very little effect.
Example (see
http://www.ramsgatelifeboat.org.uk/test ... page3.html)
Carousel - duration 3000 and pause time 1 milliseconds or 1000 milliseconds = circa 5 seconds pause time.
Fotorama - duration 12000 and 1 milliseconds or 1000 milliseconds = circa 18 second interval.

The pause time should be larger then animation time (duration). Otherwise there is no time to complete the animation within the pause time.
Note that Fotorama is a third party script, it is provided "as is".

Hi Pablo
In that case, in the carousel extension what setting would I need, to make each image stop for 1 second and animate/move for 3 seconds?

In that case, set both options to the same value.
Note that these values are approximate. The actual timing is determined by the browser.

That still doesnt give me the effect we need. i.e. the pause time needs to be shorter than the movement time.

Sorry, that is not possible. An animation has a start and end state. So, the pause time cannot be shorter than the animation time otherwise the state of the first keyframe of the animation would not be correct.

That's a real shame. It takes so long, most visitors miss its a animation.
