I'm desperately trying to download 'Lightbox addons for the Photo Gallery and Slide Show' but for some reason both Google Chrome and MacAfee are blocking this particular Free Extra download from WWB. I have downloaded stuff from WWB before with no drams but this time no joy

Did you try another browser ?
Maybe your firewall or virus scanner blocks the downloads?

Yes, Google Chrome, Firewall, and MacAfee all are warning me of the downloads with an "unidentified publisher" risk message.

Just concern about the risk

There are no viruses or malware in the software.
