Hello Forum,
Is there a way, or can we possibly implement, a NOTE feature for each project so the user can write notes for each project if needed?
eg. Notes the user can jot down for a project for changes, reminders, etc..
Thanks In Advance for any feedback on this.
AJ

Hi BaconFries,
This appear to be a website object.. I am particularly speaking of a WYSIWYG Program Feature type Note that is independent of the website objects. A feature that when the user opens a project he/she can have the Note open on start of a project for the project's information and/or reminders if needed. Just a thought. This would help me annotate or jot possible changes on each file for a project. If that's not too confusing..
Particularly, I think the Site Manager Section would be a good place to have this feature.

Isn't what Baconfries suggestion basically do the same thing?
Let's say you are working all day on your project but have some things you need to make note of. Drag the note object onto the index page (since this is the page that opens up when you load the project) make all your notes, reminders, etc and save it. When you come back the next day, your note is there.

This is the purpose of the object. It was first implemented in WB10 the following is from the release notes at the time.
Notes
- New Feature: Added 'Notes' object. An easy way to 'drop' notes/comments on the page. The object will not be included on the published page. You can quickly show/hide all notes with the 'Notes' option in the view menu.
Thanks for your input on this crispy and helping to explain my reply.

Hi Crispy98,
I guess that can work as a general workaround, although a bit disjointed as a program feature.
I would love to see this as an added feature for the program away from using the object.. Maybe it's something I can request of Pablo. By the way, I go back a long ways supporting Pablo and the software, he has done an amazing job, i think I go back to something like version 8 or lower.
Anyhow, this is not a major issue, and I think the current suggestion made by you and BaconFries will have work for me. However, I would love to see this added to the program.

On projects where I need reminders and other notes when I first load the project I always create a page named NOTES.
I make this the first page in the project and use "Don't Publish this Page".
This page just contains one or more text objects and is the first thing that appears when the project is loaded.
Can be used in addition to or as an alternative to the notes feature.

That's a good suggestion as well.. In fact, This is what I will use.. Kind of thought about this, however, after doing a few forum searches on this and not quite seeing what I was looking for, I thought I would ask if there was such a thing just in case I was overlooking it.
Thanks to all the Nice feedback and suggestions on this.. It's Appreciated!
Thanks.
