Layout Grid - automatically stacking at breakpoint?

I have several pages built in prior versions of WB. Maybe I didn't see it before but it seems that in the design view (not published or previewed) when I have a layout grid, for example with 3 columns, it appears that while the columns are side by side in default or larger screen views, they automatically stack one on top of the other in 600 or 480 breakpoints?? I don't know where I am going wrong but if the content is, for example, just an Icon or a 50px x 50px image, why are they stacking at 480 instead of displaying side-by-side in the design view? Is there a way to ensure that the columns remain side by side? I'm sure I'm just missing something but I don't know what.

Open the properties of the layout grid and check the breakpoint. The breakpoint is when the grid will switch to stacked mode (vertical). This has not changed. If you want it to stay horizontal always, then set the breakpoint very low (below your smallest page breakpoint) or to 0.

Check Breakpoint settings. The default setting is 480. You can change that to 320 lower if you want stack mode up to 480

Thanks to all, it was a simple answer with the breakpoints, yet elusive at the time. Thanks again
