I am using slide show. One image.
I am choosing Light box option and it works but the image does not enlarge when previewed.
I tried different size images but whatever size image I choose the light box opens much the same size.
What am I missing

What do you mean the image doesn't enlarge?. What lightbox are you using with the slideshow there is more than one and each have own settings. Are you previewing locally or after publising?. Do you have a example to show i.e. a url or even just a demo project with just the slideshow and the lightbox used.

I am using the one available in the webbuilder version 12
Drag Slide show
Insert picture
Go to object properties and select Lightbox Gallery/Fancy Box
View by using F5

Sorry missed picture does not enlarge.
I always thought the main use of a Lightbox was to have a small picture on the page and when selected it enlarges for better viewing

No sorry that is not the case if it was then the image would be distorted. For it to work like you thought would be to use one small image and one large so on click on the smaller the larger opens in lightbox. Or in your case you simply use one large in the slideshow decrease the size of it by using the handles to a smaller size. Please also note that WB12 is no longer supported.

I tried what you suggested
I dragged the Photo Gallery onto the page
Set it to Light Box/fancybox.
Added a small picture first and then added a large picture second and F5 viewed it and it did not work as the large picture came up.
So I reversed it and got the large picture so light box could not work

Been a bit lazy with updates as 12 was doing what I wanted. I will get onto that.

I got it to work OK with single picture. Expands perfectly
