Hi, WYSIYG seems to be creating very large amounts of files in my appdata directory.....173GB of them. but i cannot see how to stop it doing it. Please see below some example folder names it creating.

How can I remove the files? and how can i stop it doing it again?

What makes you think they are from wwb?
I'd be amazed if they had anything to do with wwb.
Do the dates modified/accessed give you any clue?
Which folder within appdata are they in?

Because the name at the end of each line after the dot is a file name of websites created by WSIWYG. Also when you click in the folders they are images used in the websites, but many copies over.

Because I think it will be asked... what is your system folder under options > files and folders?

It may be related to the 'Auto Recovery' functionality in Tools -> Options -> Backup
The files are not created by WWB, but it is that Windows makes a copy of memory on disk.

Hi, The system folder i have entered is
D:\OneDrive\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder

I did switch on that auto recovery the other day, it might be the cause of it, i will switch it off and see what happens and report back.

I switched it off in the setting and went and manually deleted the folders from the appdata. i regained 196GB. i will see how it goes and whether they return or not
