Hi,
I'm using a slider, but when i preview or upload it, it seems like the nav bar is cutting the images off at the top.

The header is set the 'fixed' so this means that it will overlap all other content.

I've used the other settings as well and it still overlaps...

i've changed it to sticky..and it still overlaps

Then the second question is...should i put the slider in a layout grid? If i use a layout grid for the other content then it keeps snapping to the the top by the nav bar..

Yes, you can put the slider in a layout grid to make it flexible.

Thank Pablo, i did that, seems like the nav problem is sorted now...the other thing is the pictures doesn't cover the screen, i nee it to cover the whole screen. my setting in the layout grid is:
Overflow: hidden
layout:fluid
Position: floating
Max width: 1024
Column height:auto
Grid system: flexbox

What should i change so the images covers the screen?

If you want to create as full size slideshow then I think it's better to use a Carousel with background images. In that case, you can set the background size to 'cover'.

This is demonstrated in the following templates:

Should the carousel be in a layout grid?
The images shouldn't be cut off as it displays the clients portfolio...

Please have a look at demo2...the images is set on cover, but it does not cover the screen. Then if i insert a layout grid for the other content then it snaps to the top by the nav bar which is a problem.

Please set 'full width' mode to 'flexible'

The carousel cuts the images off..so that won't work as this is the clients portfolio

This is normal behavior for 'cover' functionality.

Resize the background image to cover the entire container, even if it has to stretch the image or cut a little bit off one of the edges
