My site uses PayPal buttons that came with WWB 16. The buttons work well unless someone is using an iPhone. If a user uses a link to the web site that is on a Facebook post, and they are using an iPhone, clicking on the add to cart button opens the PayPal home page instead of the PayPal cart. This happens with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

It only happens when linking from Facebook on an iphone. The button works fine when linked from Facebook on an Android device.

Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

Note that the PayPal buttons are standard PayPal functionality. The logic is implemented on the PayPal servers.
So, this is normal behvaior. Only PayPal can change this.

The flaw is in Facebook's in-app browser.The in-app browser can be disabled on Android devices. It CANNOT be disabled on Apple devices. The work around is to open the initial link in Facebook and then share to Safari. Once the user is in Safari, the button will work properly.
