Previously asked at the following url below.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=92200&p=460142#p460142
Without sounding rude what would you regard as fair hourly rate? asking as on researching the average rate for a DB developer here in the UK (United Kingdom) starts at £15 per hr which equates to 18 swiss chf. So I guess the question that should be asked could you afford to hire someone when the man hours could be in the hundreds from start to finish your site.

Re: Search paid staff / support
The rate of 18 chf is ok! The amount of work must be defined mutually, by discussing specs I will provide. The basic page I will make myself. The support should develop the user-, DB-, and payment-interface. For these things I will provide specifications.
I think that a first go will take about 100h, then I will be decided to go on, or to drop the thing. Regards Chris

Hi Chris,
Have you looked at the PHP Jabbers Siva shopping cart, including the demo front and back end. It could mean you "modifying the wheel" rather than building it completely. PHP Jabbers are very receptive to modifications. They will even handle MySQL database mods - once set up through you cPanel.
HERE is the link.
I've used that on this site (order only) and this site (full payment process).

Hi Chris,
Yes, I received your email, but have just come out of a weekend and I've been busy servicing some urgent Clients and dealing with with storm damage insurance work - apologies for the delay. Plus I have a very complex platform migration to do with another Client. Will get a response to you as soon as I can. Apologies for the necessary delay.
Yours truly
