Edit HTML in Web Builder 17

I have older projects with PHP mixed with HTML. Often I cannot edit code after <body>, not even with 'page HTML'. In version 16 that was possible.
WYSIWYG Web Builder is not (and never has been) an HTML editor. This is not different than in version 16.
You cannot edit the code directly because the HTML does not exist until you publish or preview the page.
But you can ADD code via the HTML object or Page HTML.
