Link Manager issue

Pablo,

I cannot sort the links by the "Status" Column in Link Manager, so it takes a long time to scroll through all the results to find bad links. Also, could there be a way to export or copy the list once it is done so that corrections can be made to a page (the edit function doesn't work if you need to, for example, remove an image link and also remove the image). Right now, if you try to fix a page, you have to close the Link Manager window, and you lose all the information.

Thanks

Cary

Sorting is a standard Windows feature, I did not implement this functionality.
However, it seems to work correct for me.
What do I need to do to make it not work?
Do you have a DEMO project?

Also, you do not have to close the dialog the fix the link. You can use the 'Edit' button to modify the link.
If that does not work for you, then please share a DEMO project so I can cheek if there is something wrong.

Pablo,

It will sort using the "Page", "Object" and "Link to" columns but not the "Status" column. The sort ▲ ▼ arrow changes, but that is it. So, you're suggesting it's a windows issue? Are you able to bring "URL not found" to the top of the "Status" column? Is the column set to sort by alpha? Hmm.

Also, What I was referring to is the ability to fix a page that has a broken link directly from the page editor. I know you can change the URL link or remove it from the Link Manager window but, for example, if there is a link attached to an image or a text, I can remove the link, but then I would need to remember what page(s) that change was made to, and then go back and remove or change the image or text as needed via the page editor. I don't believe that is a program problem, but it would be a nice feature to add to be able to open the actual page and make the changes with the Link Manager page still open. The Link Manager window will not allow anything else to be selected.

Thanks

You can fix the link direct from within the Link Manager,. there is no need to go to the page.

1. Select the link
2. Click "Edit'
3. Update the link
4. Click 'OK'

Pablo,

Thanks, I understand that and that functions properly. I'm just using my site with a different format in mind. I use images to link to different pages. If I have removed a page (for us it might be for a discontinued product) then the broken link would be found in link manager. If I remove the link, I also need to remove the image on the corresponding page as well. No problem, I will work with it as it is.

If I just "fix" a link that has a typo or has changed, then the link manager edit works perfectly.

Thanks
