Is there any work around to play audio when playing a video as page background? I believe it has been disabled by chrome and some other browsers. Can it be utilised by some trick?

I hate to trigger an email alert, but it may be wise why this is disabled, users may be in an environment where silence is desired.

Jerry, I agree with you but this can be client specific. I am asking this to keep it as an option
IF a client wishes to have this option enabled.

As you have mentioned it is implemented by the browser. It cannot be overwritten the purpose of it is so that the end user should have control to what they listen to and not forced to even if the client (site owner) thinks they should. Personally there is nothing more annoying when visiting a site that has music playing or someone talking in the background promoting or selling the sites product hence why it it blocked. So there is no work around and if there was it may only work temporarily till the browser(s) block it again in a update.

The only proper way is to provide the site visitor with a play button so they can chose to listen or not, and can play in a seperate window whilst the user browses. It's about the best you will achieve.
