I would like to have a page transition effect for the home page of a site similar to:

Any suggestions?

This is a single page website, so there are no transitions between pages.
I think all animations are 'onscrollreveal' animations.

Did something similar by adding a docking layer, mode fill, and a timer which hides the layer after a few seconds.
