SEO and Meta Tag question

Pablo,

How does WYSIWYG handle Meta Tags with respect to the master_frame page vs the URL pages?

If I put a Meta Keyword or description in the master_frame page and also in the URL page, how does the program handle it. I noticed today while using a program to check for spelling and broken links that it kept finding a mis-spelled work in the Meta Keywords for the specific page. When I went to correct it the word was not there in the keyword list. So, I checked the keywords in the master_frame page, and there it was.

Is that casing a conflict or how should I handle it. Does it combine the Keywords?

Thanks

Meta tags should be specific to each page so the info should be entered on each page. Personally, I would not enter anything on the master page.

Crispy,

Thanks, that makes sense. What about the Favorite Icons (favicon), Apple touch and Robot instructions etc? Should that be included in the Master_frame or page? Or is that handled by the URL.

Also, when you say "Master Page" I assume it applies to Master_frame as well. Correct?

The icons and robots.txt should also set set for each page individually.

Pablo,

Thanks for the info. Maybe you could add that information to the Master Frames Help page and on the online support page? I looked and didnt find anything about it

https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/master_frame.html

Another options would be to allow the Frames page to provide that information if it is left blank in the individual URL's????

EDIT: I just noticed that removing the icon (ico) information does nothing if you have that information in the "Site Properties". If you remove it, it just refills the information. Which makes sense. Just mentioning it in case someone tries to remove it from the frames page.

Thanks again
