auto hide layer

I do this 4-5 years ago, but today i forget that.
I try to make a layer
a. after page load layer come.
b. layer have X to close that.
c. layer close automatic after 20 second.

You can use a timer to automatically close the layer after x seconds.

the layer can not work correctly in layout mode page.
are you have better idea?

Layers work ok, but you can also use a dialog.
