No text box???

This is a difficult question to explain. Sometimes (like now) if I (try to)insert a text box, it is not a text box just an expandable frame or box of any size, yet if I attempt same on a different breakpoint I get a text box?? Any ideas?

Although difficult to use the correct terminology, it is simply when inserting a text box, the expandable frame while holding the left mouse button is not a text box frame it is an expandable (both ways) frame, a text box frame should be only expandable horizontally. The resulting frame does not allow me to enter text?

Are you referring to the "TexArea" object maybe?.

Yes - I don't understand why I find my question so difficult to elucidate. A text frame is only width expandable, other frames are as large as you wish, I am getting the latter, but only on a specific breakpoint page????
