Mobile view of website can be moved to the left

Hello,

Can't work out why this happens, but when viewing some of the websites I've created in WB on a mobile phone, the page can be moved to the left a little. It doesn't do this when turning the phone to landscape, only when holding in the 'portrait' position.

Any help much appreciated,

Rich :-)

This is most likely because there are object outside the viewport.

See this FAQ:
There is a large is empty space at the bottom or right side of my page.

It may also have something to do with the breakpoints chosen. Do you have a link to the page?

Pablo,

Thank you for the quick reply.
Brilliant, I'll check to see if I've got anything outside of the viewpoint that's hidden
Thanks so much
Rich

Does a scroll bar show up?

Hi bkjohns

No scroll bar. Just the ability to move the page to the left by 2cm (I'm looking on a Samsung Galaxy S20)

Thanks,

Rich

Ok if I start looking at the page in 'landscape' first I see the small gap and it is also in 'portrait'. I think it is related to the text effect on the page using wb_text2 and text_3 that are outside the viewpoint. The gap goes away in 'portrait' if you view in 'landscape' then turn phone to 'portrait' and vice verus again this is due to the effect has already ran in 'LS' so it may be the effect causing this.

Hi BaconFries,

I get exactly the same thing. So maybe I just need to get rid of the text effect. Nice though it is, if that's the cause of the problem, I can live without the fancy animation if it means nobody can wobble the page to the left!

Thanks for having a look.

Cheers,

Rich :-)
