I want to set up a 3 photo slider with overlay text, I have purchased all the extensions and struggled to find out how to do it.
There are already some sliders that have overlays at the bottom of the image I would like something more central.....is this possible or do I need to find a third party slider?
Something as basic as this site

Thanks

The built-in slideshow supports overlay text (captions)
It can be placed on all sides of the images.

or else maybe this will be useful?

Yes, the carousel can be placed in a layout grid. In the settings, set it to flexible. This will make items inside floating.

The carousel is flexible and responsive.
There are many examples for this in the templates section.

I'm so sorry I cannot see any option for setting to flexible in the carousel settings, my layout grid is set for flexgrid.
Is that whats stopping me from dragging the carousel into the layout grid?
Thanks

yes!
The full width property should be set to 'flexible'. See also the information about this in the help.

I must really dumb....you mentioned the slider has options for captions, I have found the styling for the caption but where do you actually write the text caption? is it done via animations and transistions?
EDIT: Disregard I am dumb, I found it.
