I have WB15.
Is it possible in this or a later version to create a rotatable object, which a website viewer can rotate in any direction with the mouse?
or is there a 3rd party extension which will do this?

First please note WB15 is no longer supported. What your asking is not available in WB17. You would need a third party script of maybe the following extension by crispy68 may be of use unsure that it will work with WB15 though you would need to check with him.
