I have a conveyer belt slideshow that display logos for our sponsors, with links to the sponsor websites. It all works well, except that on the iphone (using Safari or Google) when I tap a logo to show the sponsor website, the conveyer belt is frozen. Is there a way around this?

What is being asked is the published url of the page in your site so that it contains the conveyerbelt slideshow. This is so it can be viewed/tested and a answer given.

I have tried on my iPhone and it seems to work for me.

Note that you will need to touch twice.
one to stop the animation (hover) and two to trigger the link (click).
this is because the iPhone does not have 'hover' functionality.

On my iphone 11 or 12, whether I touch once or twice it displays the sponsor website, but when I return to the home screen, the conveyer belt will not move.

This is probably because the iPhone caches the previous state of the page.
So, you will need to refresh the page.
