Form reset after recaptcha error

In the form as below, when i enter the name and email and select a file and i forget to check the robot box and hit submit i get the error page.
When i hit the back button or if i have a go back button on the error page it goes back to that page , the name and email will still be there but the selected file won't be listed, if i go to select a file it won't let me select the same file i selected the first time.
Any idea why that would happen ?
