Would it be possible to insert a 3D object and move it over the page via scroll animation?

If not, I'm assuming the other alternative would be to make a video of the 3d object moving and then connect the video to a scroll animation?

There is no standard option for 3D objects. This will require a custom script, because this is very specific.
