trying to get a header to show site search
it stretches across page or layout grid

trying to use a layout grid for a header in a master page (embedded page but the site search element stretches the full width of the grid

trying making the header with a layer in a master page but nothing shows up in once published or previewed

could use some help with this have been messing with this for 2 day and it just will not work

The 'full width' property controls whether the object is full width in flexible layouts.

on the button I have the full width turned off button/full width / option false
it is the field where you fill in a search query Im having the trouble with

hate to post a sample page because so little is working out with this but here is the page I want to use as the master page / embedded page

You have posted a link to your local disk, so we will not be able to see this.

If you turn off 'full width' then you can resize the objects to any size you like.
Of course, in that case you will loose the flexible behavior of the objects.

If you need further assistance then please create a demo project and describe what would like to change.

no way to attach a picture otherwise would show what Iput together in the program

not sure what else to do to get this to work
read all the help and online lessons, not very clear

When it is asked to provide a "Demo" it means a link to your project the .wbs and not a link to you site. To do this upload your project the .wbs to your own site and provide a download link or alternatively you can use Mediafire. How do I share my project to get help?
