LOGOUT button doesnt work on masterpage

Hi
I have a masterpage that I am using. All pages are in php. Now, I have added a "Logout" button into masterpage. The button is in the Layout Grid, possition: footer (floating). But, when I publish the page containing the Masterpage with this Logout button, and when I click on Logout button, the Button doesnt do anything. Doesnt Log you out actualy. Just refreshes the page.
Can you check this please?
