Hosting recommendations

Hi all
listen, i currently own a 50GB reseller hosting plan with a small portuguese company near where i live and here's what they offer me:
- Unlimited addon domains / subdomains
- Unlimited MySQL / MariaDB databases
- Free SSL certificates from cPanel itself
- More than 200 Pre installed Scripts Softaculous
... and much more
Now.... i pay
120 eur a year and i'm trying to find recommendations for a lower price (wish me luck). If someone can recommend me a safe and hosting plan inside Europe (or even US) with these options i mentioned above, i'd like to hear from you
I've searched the web for hosting plans (ex: Namecheap, Hostgator, GoDaddy, etc...) but with no lower prices than this. I always try to find the best value, but sometimes it gets a bit difficult...
Thank you! โค

Hi miguelss
yes, it's cheap i must say (in comparison with others with even less hosting space and cPanel accounts)
but i'm trying to find a cheaper hosting plan with the same options, just like i've found this one (my actually plan) some time ago
here is the link to the company

Hi again Crispy
Ok... this is a little different from my hosting plan where i sell quotas from a 50GB hosting space. Tomorrow i will read more about this Hostinger alien thing ahahahah, it's another level for sure
Basically i've got my hosting plan in Lisbon, Portugal and i buy domains on the
https://www.spaceship.com website, which i think it's linked with
Namecheap anyways and they got cool prices for .com, .net and .org domains (and even other domain extension), plus they accept promo codes, that's sooo cool / lovely
Thank you once again!

I am currently using hostinger.
One of the cheapest most efficient would be whois host.

Hi wwonderfull
it appears that
whois.com prices are much more expensive than the prices I currently pay with my hosting company. As for now i will stick with this company until I can get slightly cheaper prices. Thank you anyways!

Hi Abigail. If you are satisfied with your current provider's service and support you can try to bargain with them. Depending on how many sites and databases you are handling it can be some work to migrate to a new host. When I saw the low prices for some of the providers in this thread I contacted my provider and told them that I was considering changing because of the prices... and they lowered because they know it's a big range of suppliers out there. I got reduced 50% so I am happy

Hi jerryco, yepp. I was happy they valued me as a long-term client. I was afraid they were too big to even consider. But surprise surprice...

Well... some over-charge in my opinion, but they have some tools and support on their panel that are more than others.

Hi Bluesman
i'm satisfied with my hosting company, but i find some other companies out there that have extra features, for instance, i cant use some Perl scripts on my hosting account and it has some other limitations as well. I dont think this hosting company will ever apply a special price on me (they dont work that way), but I've found another two cheaper hosting sites on my bookmarks yesterday, since i have more than 5,000 bookmarks. Maybe time will tell...
Have a nice week ^^

Hi Miguel, good morning
yes, it would be a good idea!
so here it goes:
***
AFFORDABLE RESELLER HOSTING: ***
WebHS (can choose language on the header menu!)
https://www.webhs.pt/
Reselhost (can choose language on the header menu!)
https://www.reselhost.pt/revenda-alojamento-web.html
Miztec (portuguese language only! / lรญngua portuguesa apenas!)
https://www.miztec.pt/alojamento-reseller/
***
AFFORDABLE DOMAINS ***
Spaceship
https://www.spaceship.com
OVHcloud
US site -->
https://us.ovhcloud.com/
European site -->
https://www.ovhcloud.com/
OBS: i didn't test these hosting plans on these companies/entities, i've only done a research on the Internet. Some of these websites have only a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate... so, i don't know if this is a good/bad indicator (maybe it's just someone running the website, in this case, a reseller).
hope i can help anyone!

Hi Mary,
Could you tell me what "service" do you have on SpaceShip? I want to try it, but with the advantage of your experience
Essential? Pro? Supreme?
Thanks a lot!!!

Hi Miguel
About the
Reseller Hosting plan i'm a customer at
WebHS (Lisbon, Portugal) and i bought the RV @XXS a few years ago:
https://www.webhs.pt/en/reseller/linux/
(costs โฌ30/quarterly) so, the cheapest one and has a lot of features already, i recommend that one!
At
Spaceship i only buy the domains, since it's the cheapest/stable place i could find on the internet. Also, depending on their promos you can buy a domain in the first year for a really low price, in the second year domain prices gets back to normal, but it's cheap anyway! (compared to other companies/websites)
For instance, ".org" are โฌ5.20 (first year), then it's โฌ9.07 (second year), but their prices tend to fluctuate a little (not so much anyway, just a few cents or so).
You have to register to be able to buy at
lower prices than the ones you see on their website (without registering).
You'll also find some domains as cheap as some cents (first year only), then you pay the regular prices. Just register and see by yourself!
Also, there's some sites that give away promo codes to use within Spaceship.com, just google it, you'll find!
Hope this helps!
