I have version 17.4.1 (Sep 17 2022) installed and since the day I installed and ran it the program has worked without any issues, until today!

Now when i open the program it seems fine, as long as i select elements and modules already added (text boxes, video placeholders etc) the program works ok. Even Preview and Publish work

But, if I select anywhere on the page I am working on that does not contain anything the entire program just stops and shuts down.
Has anyone experienced this issue?

What Windows version are you using?

Windows 11 Home 23H2

Version 17 has not been updated for more than a year, so it should work the same as when you first installed it.
Did you change something on your computer?

Also, did you make sure the software has permission to your files and folders?
For example, it is common that Windows ransomware protection blocks access to the document folder.

I haven't changed anything on my PC and the ransomware protection feature is turned off.

I suppose it might be a windows update that is causing the problem so I gues I will have to go back through the update history and roll back updates one by one until i find the culprit

Although it could be time to upgrade to version 19

i had 14 then 17 so maybe 19 is overdue
