Date-Picker wrong Values in Table

Hello,
i have a little problem with the Date-Picker in my forms.... I selected the option "use actually date" as "start-value" in the Date-Picker Options.
Now, if somebody uses this form, he has to select manually the Date, even if it is today. If he doesn`t then the submitted value is the Date from the last upload, but not the date of today.
Thats a little difficult, because "today" is automatically selected in the Datepicker, so the users think they wont have to click it manually.
Do i have a mistake on my own, or is it a "bug" in the datepicker?
