I am attempting to get the SLIDESHOW navigation to work? I must be missing something?

I have attached a single page, single Layout grid with the SlideShow in the grid ...

Could you please review and let me know what I am missing ... I suspect it is obvious (just not to me!)

The navigation is for the standard slide show only. A conveyer belt does not have navigation.
This is also mentioned in the help.
