Website update and SEO repair

Post by a1engraving »

I need someone that can fix the SEO errors on my website along with replacing my header with a new header as an embedded Master Page, (I have the picture I want to use). Would also like to use Flex Boxes so that the pages on the site are responsive for all breakpoints. I currently have three breakpoints, Default at 1022 pixels,640 and 320 but have to edit all three breakpoints whenever I make changes. And finally, to fix any other errors that I am not aware of.

I built the site using WB14. I would like to upgrade the site to a newer version of WB. I purchased WB18 but have never used it. Would it be recommended for me to upgrade to WB19?

I do not want to build a new website, just fix what I have.

I can send all the WB files in version 14.

My website address is: www.a1engravingservice.com

Thank you,
Don

Yes if you wish to do any updates to the project yourself once whoever does the work required you have wrote about. Why? because once your project the .wbs has been opened with WB19 then it cannot be opened again in any earlier versions such as WB18/14.
Also note that if you have used any extensions then they to will be needed so to be able to open the project as without then it is not possible to do so. You should also discuss any costs in pvt with whoever offers to do any work and timeline to complete.

It sounds like you’ve got a good plan for updating your site. For the SEO errors, consider running a thorough website audit first. It’ll give you a clearer picture of what needs fixing and how to improve your site’s visibility. Since you’re looking to incorporate Flex Boxes, upgrading to WB19 would likely provide better support for responsive design and modern features, making it easier to manage those breakpoints.
As for the header, replacing it with an embedded Master Page is a smart move for consistency across your site. If you’re not keen on starting from scratch, this approach will keep your current setup intact while enhancing its functionality.

This post has been here for a long time maybe because the project was complex or big. This project has a lot of pages. About 25 pages or so with with ecommerce.

All the pages were built with absolute layout. The thing is as you mentioned:
I do not want to build a new website, just fix what I have.
When repairing or fixing this website there is no corner or the software where there will be a check because for that almost 98% might need a change including the Title the contents and many other sections as you mentioned the word SEO. Redesign is somewhat equal to rebuilding not from scratch but from wound because we have to do it all over again to make it better than before. So, the process is about the same in terms of redesigning which is to make sure everything works correctly.

@Don if you are active then you can contact from below signature link. We can have a talk first about the site if it works out then negotiation on further.
